Online registration for all students for second semester is now open.  Please go to the Taylor County Schools website to register your child for either in-person or virtual school instruction.
If you prefer to call in your registration, please call 304.265.2497, ex. 1150, Monday thru Wednesday, January 4-6, between the hours of  8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

STUDENT Remote Learning Plan

 

 

 

Schedule

Live Instruction will occur Mondays and Thursdays between 8:00-12:45 and Tuesdays and Fridays between 8:00-11:45. All students are expected to review their weekly schedules prior to first period on Monday mornings.

 

Each afternoon, teachers will schedule small group meetings for interventions, to answer student questions, and to provide reteach lessons.

 

All teachers will post on TEAMS a weekly schedule, assignments, and supplemental videos by 8:00am on Mondays.

 

Please note that during this time of Remote Learning your last name does not apply.

Should you have questions or concerns, please contact TCMS Faculty by email or phone. Faculty will return all messages during their work day (7:30-3:00) and within a 24 hour period.

Student expectations

Students are expected to participate in classes each day. If you are unable to participate in class during live instruction, please email your teacher, and watch the pre-recorded video that will be provided later in the day.

If a student does not have access to internet, he/she (or a parent) must contact the teacher and make arrangements to receive work through an alternative method.

Grades are counted throughout this time of Remote Learning. Remember to turn in all work that is assigned.

Internet Access

Please remember that internet access is available at all Taylor County Schools. Internet is also available at the public library and Tygart Lake. If using this option, you will select the KidsConnect option and select Trust or Accept. There is no password for KidsConnect.
