Let's Go knights!

Dear Families and Students,

We hope this message finds your family healthy and safe. We are still facing many unanswered questions but want you to know your TCMS family is here to support you and your needs. We do want to add that any stress or additional issues we may have caused with the work sent home was not intentional. Our goal was to try and keep our students engaged and not worrying about what was going to happen next. We have learned valuable lessons and are working to provide a much better experience moving forward.

Our plan is still being worked through, but we did want to tell you each student will receive 100 points for Ice Packs and 100 points for the work they have completed and continue to work on for this week. Deadlines in some classes have been lifted and we ask those students to continue to complete those assignments. Plans moving forward will include choices around activities to complete that will help students maintain skills they have already learned, as well as stretch their thinking by applying learning to real life issues and situations. This will look different at each grade level and those earning high school credits. Our teachers will be sharing these plans for communication to our students no later than Monday morning. They will be reaching out to understand internet availability and just checking in so that we can support our students not only in learning but in other areas of need.

Thank you for your continued support as we continue to navigate an unknown path. If you need anything from us please reach out to us as our thoughts and prayers remain with you. Remember we are #TaylorCountyStrong.
