Let's Go knights!

Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the reopening of the 20-21 school year, there are decisions that will need to be made by families to ensure that Taylor County School District makes needed preparations.

At this time, we are asking you which enrollment you are planning for your child or children.

Face-to-face instruction means that you are selecting the plan of having your child attend school based on the tier that is currently in place for the county.

Virtual Learning means that your child will not attend school but will still be enrolled. All instructional and learning will occur virtually. Virtual Learning requires a one semester minimum commitment.  For elementary (grades Kindergarten through 5th), instruction will be provided by county-employed teachers and the curriculum will be the same as if your child is attending school.  For secondary (grades 6th through 12th), instruction will be provided by the WV Virtual School online learning platform. Instructors will be certified teachers but will not be our local teachers. The curriculum will be the WV State Standards as delivered through WV Virtual Schools.

Using the link below, please complete the short survey for each child in your home who is or will be enrolled in Taylor County Schools this fall.

You may also call 304-265-2497 Ext. 1123 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. if you prefer to respond by phone.  The survey will close on August 11 at 3 p.m.

Thank you for your continued support as we continue to navigate an unknown path. If you need anything from us please reach out to us as our thoughts and prayers remain with you. Remember we are #TaylorCountyStrong.
