Mrs. McCauley wanted to share some artwork that has been submitted to the WV Art Education Association for their Annual competition on collage art.
If selected, they will be on display at the 2026 WVAEA Conference at Marshall University November 6th and 7th.

This message is as much an announcement and reminder as it is an appeal for your assistance as we continue to focus attention on safety.
In the past few weeks, it has been noticed that an increasing number of Elementary and Middle School age students are being dropped off to attend activities and events sponsored by the school system without parents or chaperones.
While we encourage any/all individuals to join our sponsored opportunities, it is essential that we ensure that they are as safe as possible. Doing so requires the cooperation of all of us and includes proper chaperone supervision and careful vehicular traffic as well.
In an attempt to prevent any injury to any of our attendees of activities and events, ensure that those younger individuals are supervised. Please see the Parents and Students section of our Taylor County Schools Website if you would like to review TCBOE POLICY 5855 - STUDENT ACCESS AT SCHOOL EVENTS.
In addition, beginning with this evening's GHS Homecoming event, you will also note a return to parking restrictions near/along certain areas of the more frequented foot traffic locations.
