We will be selling snow cones made with 100 percent fruit juice on Wednesday Oct 1 and Thursday Oct 2. $1.00 each.

At Taylor County Middle School, we're proud to launch a new initiative that celebrates our Knights who lead with respect, responsibility, and readiness. It's called Random Knock-and it's all about recognizing classes that consistently follow our school-wide expectations. Each month, teachers nominate the class period where students are truly shining. From those nominations, we randomly select one 5/6th grade class and one 7th/8th grade class to receive a surprise knock at their door and a special reward. This month's winning classes earned extra time outside to enjoy our brand new equipment and they had a blast! Way to go Knights! Keep showing that TCMS pride-you never know when the next Random Knock might come your way!

Mrs. Larews and Ms. Roberts 9th period class made canvas slides to go with their group bills trying to make them laws. The notes are in and 3 out of 4 passed. The students loved this assignment!

Congratulations to our VB team for their 3rd place finish in the Wildcat Serve City Classic today. Congratulations players and coaches. Go Knights! 🏐🖤🩶❤️

Congratulations to the following students for being selected as September Students of the Month: Brayden Sprout, Caitlin Cook, Levi Greenway, Naomi Horne, Gregory Braddock, Eden Lambert, Tre Ford and Kayleigh Ford. Also we would like to recognize Terry Knotts as Personnel of the Month and Ashley Scherich as Teacher of the Month!

Thank you to the Grafton Rotary Club for their generous donation to Communities In Schools. It will be a huge help to our students here at the Taylor County Middle School.

In case you weren't aware we not only have agriculture as a class, but we also have an FFA Chapter here on the hill. Our students are doing a fundraiser to raise funds for their FFA membership and to participate in regional and state events. This will be the first fundraiser of the year, and our agriculture students seem excited for it. The students have selected to do a Sock Bash. Simply scan the QR code and be directed to the website where you can purchase a pair of fun and festive socks. This fundraiser will run from now until October 31, 2025. As always, we thank you for supporting our students.

TCMS has some of the best Service Personnel in the county! We are lucky to have all of them on the hill! ❤️🖤

More exciting things happening on the hill. With our fund raisers last year, we were able to do several projects for our students. We added a beach volleyball court, badminton court, 2 corn hole games, a ping pong table, 2 four square pads that will be painted soon, a fuse ball table and upgraded the 2 basketball hoops. A special thank you to the football staff as they did all of the labor. Thank you for your dedication to our students.

As a reminder there will be popcorn and bottled water sold today delivered to homerooms at the end of the day! $1.00 each

TCMS Band is having a fall craft show this Saturday, September 20th.

On Wednesday, Sept 17, we will be selling popcorn and bottled water. We will be collecting money in the morning as students arrive at school and we will be delivering it at the end of the day to everyone's homeroom. Each item will be $1.00.
