Given only one piece of paper students were challenged to design a cup/vessel that would hold water for 30 seconds (tape/glue could not be used). Using the Engineering Design Process of defining their problem, identifying constraints, brainstorming ideas, building a prototype, and testing their design, many students were successful in their creations. Even the designs that did not hold water were still successful in working through the design process.
Reminder : The Noble Knights Parent Breakfast is this morning at 8:15. Students should report to 1st period then will be called down.

Also congratulations to Corrine Miller coming in 2nd and Cade Mooney for being the first alternate. Jordan advances to the regional spelling bee which will be held at University High School in March. We are very proud of everyone that was able to make it last night and look forward to Jordan's success in March. Go Knights!

Parents and students, as crazy as it sounds, we are now looking ahead to Spring sports. Sign ups for track would have been posted this week (and may still be posted...if we return weather permitting). However, hope for the best and plan for the worst. If you are interested in track please send an email to Natsanet Clemm indicating your interest. She would need name, grade, best contact phone number, and your uniform size (for a potential uniform order). Please email her by Monday January 24th.
