Sra. Skaggs, Spanish Teacher and Chapter Sponsor of the Hispanic Honor Society, welcomed new members during an Induction Ceremony on Monday evening, October 25.
Special Music was performed by Maria Walesca Suarez from Venezuela and Jose Fernando Ramirez from Columbia.

In addition to the ceremony, the Hispanic Honor Society has been active and packed gifts to send to Venezuela.





The GHS FBLA Officer team appreciated the opportunity to travel to Flatwoods today to participate in the WV FBLA Fall Leadership Conference. 🍁🍂
Guest speakers included Tara St. Clair who shared details about the WV High School Business Plan Competition, Tricia Ball shared the Journey of Entrepreneurship & D4D, and Allison Glotfelty who shared her presentation titled, “Being a Young Entrepreneur.”
Informative and fun workshops engaged students in: Team Building, Lead to Succeed, Practice Perfection, Working your Network, and Face Your Fear of Public Speaking.
Officer team includes: Braydon McCullough, Austin Casto, Emma Fridley, Sydney Friend, and Kelly Grass.
Justin Gainer, GHS FBLA Treasurer, was unable to attend in preparation of this evening’s Region II Regional Soccer Finals. Go Bearcats! ⚽️

Field Trip Opportunity for GHS Students


Grafton High School Volleyball enjoyed Pink Out Night at the WVU Coliseum on Saturday, October 23. After the game between WVU and Baylor, the volleyball team had a chance to meet the Baylor players and discuss volleyball experiences at the high school and collegiate levels.


Bearcats- put on your black and red and support the Knights this Wednesday.


The 9th Grade will be taking a field trip to the United Technical Center in Clarksburg on Wednesday of next week. This trip is for ALL Freshmen and they are required to submit a permission form to attend. Forms are due by this Friday. They were given out by AA teachers and attached on Livegrades and grade level Teams. Please be sure to get these forms in to be able to attend this trip!

Congratulations to the boys soccer team. They are sectional champs. They defeated RCB in double overtime, 1-0.
Coach Knight expects us to play a regional game against Herbert Hoover at 6:00 on Tuesday at Philip Barbour HS.
