Auditions for The Little Mermaid have been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 17th due to the snow day tomorrow. Auditions will be held in the TCMS auditorium!

This week's tip continues the focus on phonics or the matching of letters to sounds. Taylor County Math Field Day Competition!
This year’s competition will be held at Taylor County Middle School on Saturday, January 13, 2024. The Snow Date will be Saturday, January 20, 2024.
Students received their participation invitations from their math teachers.
The testing schedule for the county competition on Jan 13th is as follows:
4th Grade Students:8:30 – 9:30 am
5th Grade Students:9:45 – 10:45 am
6th Grade Students:11:00 am – 12:00 pm
7th Grade Students:12:45 – 1:45 pm
8th Grade Students:2:00 – 3:00 pm
Students should arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled testing time and parents will need to plan on picking them up promptly at the end of their scheduled testing time. Parents are permitted to stay during the testing and will be asked to wait in the Commons Area.
No calculators are permitted during the competition. Pencils and scratch paper will be supplied.

Coming soon to a court near you... the TCMS faculty will take on the GHS faculty in the Taylor County Backyard Brawl. Students will pay $1 to attend the game. Concessions will be available.
