Yesterday, we had the privilege to tour Leer Mine and join them in their safety cookout celebration! TCMS Book Vending Machine was their Noble Cause of the month, and the miners fully funded this machine for us! We could not be happier or more appreciative for this contribution to our school!

Update to threat: Taylor County Schools has been in contact with Taylor County Schools in Kentucky and learned the threat is not related to them but a social media post spreading nationwide. Authorities there continue to work on locating the person who began this earlier in the week.

Taylor County Schools was alerted to a possible threat involving a weapon and TCMS. The Sheriff’s Department investigated and determined it was meant for a school in Taylor County Kentucky. We appreciate those who shared the message and the diligence of the Sheriff’s department and the support they will provide at TCMS today.
Ms. St. Peter won our first Trivia contest for Teacher Appreciation Week! She won a gift certificate for a free coffee and pepperoni roll from Redezbrews at The Flower Market in Grafton! Thank you, Rendezbrews for your contribution to our teachers!

There is still time to send that special student a word of encouragement before our GSA test.
