Congratulations to Ms. Shaffermans homeroom for winning the March Madness competition for attendance. They had the best attendance for the month of March.

The 8th grade and 5th grade students participated in a mock congressional hearing for Mr. Dave and Mrs. Poling’s social studies classes.






The students had a great time with the Rachel's Challenge presentation today that talked to them about bullying and life's challenges. Thank you to everyone that participated! It was a great day!

Ms. Franciosi's 5th Grade Science classes have been studying the moon and its phases. On Friday we were able to complete an Oreo Moon Phase Lab that demonstrated the student's understanding of how the moon appears differently to us here on Earth throughout the course of the month. Students got to share their knowledge about the moon and a yummy snack! Thanks Again to All the Parents that sent in Oreos for our Moon Activity!!

Students from Mr. Cathel and Mrs. Gerkin's classes had an opportunity to participate in several activities at the Pierpont Aviation Technology Workshop. They received a facility and aircraft tour, learned about basic aircraft and flight theory, constructed and flew aircraft gliders, used a flight simulator and practiced metalworking including drilling and riveting. They left with a greater understanding of aviation and the career pathways available in our region. Thank you to Pierpont Aviation Technology Center for having us today!
