Parent Reminder♥️ Emergency Prescribed Medication Parental Requirements **Important Information- WVBE Policy-10.1.g-Medication Administration- requires emergency prescribed medications be available in the school building WITH School Medication Order form completed by both the guardian and the doctor PRIOR to attending school. ** If a student requires emergency medications, they may NOT attend school without the medication AND completed order form. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and the prompt delivery of the necessary medications to keep your child safe in school. If you have any questions, please contact your school nurse. The nurse will be available August 19-25 in the school and at the August 18 for 5th grade Orientation and August 25 Back to School Night if you need to drop off medications and paperwork . Medications cannot be sent in with your child; this requires a parent or guardian.

Important Immunization Reminder for 7th & 12th Grade Students! All students entering 7th grade are required to provide documentation of receiving 1 TDAP and 1 Meningococcal vaccine prior to starting school in August. Also, any homeschool student participating in school sponsored sports or band are required to have up to date vaccinations. All students entering 12th grade are required to provide documentation of receiving 1 TDAP and 2 meningococcal vaccines prior to starting school August. *If a student received their first meningococcal vaccine after turning age 16 then only 1 meningococcal vaccine is required. Students who do not provide documentation of receiving the required immunizations by the first day of school will not be allowed to attend.

Calling all incoming 5th grade families and new students transferring to TCMS! Join the TCMS Administrative Team for a special Meet & Greet / Q&A Session designed to help make the transition to middle school as smooth as possible. August 18 5:30 PM TCMS Auditorium During this session, we will: Answer the most commonly asked questions from new parents. Walk through a sample 5th grade daily schedule. Explain what students can expect during their first days of middle school. Provide an opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed setting before Open House. This event is exclusively for incoming 5th grade parents and families new to TCMS. Only school administrators will be present. Please note: We still encourage everyone to attend Open House to meet your child’s teachers and learn more about their classes. We look forward to welcoming our newest Knights and helping your family feel prepared for an exciting school year!
