πŸŽ‰ Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! πŸŽ‰ Our Spanish classes recently came together for an unforgettable celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! Students had a blast learning salsa, merengue, and other Latin dances, all led by SeΓ±ora Smith and a special guest from Venezuela. πŸ’ƒπŸ½πŸ•ΊπŸ½ This fun-filled event gave our students the opportunity to connect with and appreciate the vibrant traditions that make up Hispanic culture. Their energy and enthusiasm lit up the room, leaving everyone inspired and excited to continue exploring the diverse cultures that enrich our community. 🌎❀️

🌼 DΓa de los Muertos Shoebox Project 🌼 Our Spanish class students are honoring loved ones with their DΓa de los Muertos shoebox projects! πŸŽ¨πŸ’€ They’re creating mini ofrendas filled with photos, mementos, and vibrant designs, celebrating life and memory in this beautiful Mexican tradition. It’s a meaningful way for them to connect with culture and remember those who have touched their lives. 🌺✨

As we get ready to wrap up our fall season, we are so thankful for the GHS administration and WTES administration for allowing us to use their facilities. We appreciate your willingness to make sure our student athletes have a beautiful place to participate in our fall sports. Our football, soccer, and XC program wouldn't be successful without their support.
