Important Message from Taylor County Schools: Starting Friday, August 25, 2023, the following procedural change will go into effect: All schools will open to receive student arrival no earlier than 7:15 a.m., as this will be the earliest that students will be allowed to enter any school building. Parents/guardians are asked to plan not to drop off students prior to this time and honor the bus lanes specifically for buses only and parent/guardian student drop off lanes. This change is being made to help minimize traffic congestion at all locations. We appreciate your cooperation. All students in 7th Grade and 12th Grade must receive the Tdap vaccine and the meningitis vaccine by the first day of school. You must provide the necessary documentation verifying these vaccinations to your child's school. Any student in 7th or 12th grades who has not provided documentation of these required vaccines to your child's school by the first day Will Not be allowed to attend school and will be sent home until these vaccinations are received. If you have any questions, please contact your physician or the Grafton-Taylor county Health Department.

Do you have a bachelor degree and enjoy working with kids? TCMS would like to host an open house for all potential substitute teachers August 14th at 5:30pm. You can also learn how to take the alternative pathway to education and become a full time teacher. Come meet TCMS administration as we hope to answer all your questions about learning to become a substitute teacher for our county.

TCMS Fall sports start dates 2023 ⚽️ TCMS Girls Soccer Tryouts and Season start Dates: August 7th,8th, and 9th.  Time: 6pm-7:30pm Location: TCMS 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️TCMS Cross Country Monday July 31, 2023 @ 6:00pm West Taylor Elementary  Practice and parent meeting  🏈 TCMS Football Monday July 31 - August 4th 6pm - 8pm at TCMS   Flex Days 📣 TCMS Cheerleading Try out camp is July 31-Aug 3 from 4-6. Try outs are Aug 7 from 3-6. Parent meeting on Aug 8 at 5:00. 🏐 TCMS Volleyball Will update as soon we get information ⚽️ TCMS Boys Soccer Tryout Dates: August 7th and 8th Time: 6-8pm Place- Leer Mine Complex Athletes need an up to date physical and proof of insurance to participate. 🖤❤️🩶Go Knights! 🖤❤️🩶

PARENTS: August 1st at 6pm in the TCMS band room will be our first band boosters meeting to start the 23-24 band season!! We will be getting things ready for band camp which is August 14-18.
