Parents....Just a reminder.
This is a reminder concerning state requirements on school immunizations. All students in 7th Grade and 12th Grade must receive the Tdap vaccine and the meningitis vaccine by the first day of school. You must provide the necessary documentation verifying these vaccinations to your child's school. Any student in 7th or 12th grades who has not provided documentation of these required vaccines to your child's school by the first day Will Not be allowed to attend school and will be sent home until these vaccinations are received. If you have any questions, please contact your physician or the Grafton-Taylor county Health Department.

We had an error when posting some of our 7th and 8th grade students who received the President's list. We have corrected it and congratulations again to all the students who received this award.
TCMS was able to man a water table at the 3 Bridge 5K. It was nice to see all the runners run by including some of our very own Knights.
Thank you to all the volunteers that put in the hard work to make this race possible. Congratulations to all the runners that finished.
Friends and Family of Taylor County Knights, We are very excited, thanks to Leer Mine, that we are getting a book vending machine. Students will be given “coins” and be able to purchase a new chapter book for themselves to keep. This will help students build their own personal libraries at home and grow their love for reading. ✈️Day 2 at Pierpont Aviation Center! Another great day for our summer school students. Students got to see if their planes they made would fly, fly a plane in an airplane simulator program(we had a few crashes😂), and start a jet engine. ✈️

TCMS takes on Model Schools 2023 in Orlando, FL! TCMS Staff has attended sessions on "Leveling Up" with Ryan Leak, Tier One Instruction with Dr. Chris Price, Collaborative Leadership with Superintendent Dr. Donna Heston and Marion County Leadership and many more sessions to improve our county for our students and teachers! Volleyball team competed in the Summer Slam Volleyball tournament hosted by Philip Barbour High School volleyball team. We won the Silver Bracket trophy. Time to make room in the trophy case! 🏆❤️🖤
Summer school letters have been sent out!! Please look on the envelope for bus number and pick up time. Give the drivers a 15-20 minute window until routes are complete. Buses will leave TCMS by 3pm.
