Spring Break
Congratulations to the TCMS Girls Track and Field Team on their accomplishments at the Preston County Middle School Track Meet. The Girls placed 2nd overall while the boys placed 7th. For the girls team: Reese Lambert Placed 1st in shot put. Madelyn Lynch placed 1st in 100-meter hurdles and High Jump. Callie Copeland placed 4th in the 100 meter dash. Addison Sole placed 2nd in the 1600 meter run. Girls 4x1 team, comprised of Liya Clemm, Callie Copeland, Lauren Worth and Lucky Jones, placed 1st. Our second 4x100 team comprised of Reese Lambert, Madelyn Lynch, Rory Stevens and Peyton Stevens placed 4th. Girls 4x4 teams placed 6th and 7th. In long jump, Bailey Weaver took 4th and Peyton Stevens took 5th. For the boys team: Isaac Young Placed 2nd in the 800-meter run. Briar Larew placed 4th in 1600 meter run and 3rd in the 800 meter run. 4x100 team with Dylan Field, Dylan Garrison, Riley Pevler and Jimmy Hall, Placed 5th. Nice work out there and thanks for showing your TCMS pride and great sportsmanship!

Upon visiting any Taylor County School, guests are required to enter a secure area for further identification before being granted any access to the interior part of the school building. Today, we had 14 students from TCMS who traveled to compete at the Regional Social Studies Fair. The following students placed in their respective categories. Colton Rouzee & Gavin Campbell placed 3rd, Emari Duckworth & Kendall Frey placed 2nd, Paislee Freeman placed 2nd, Peyton Freeman placed 2nd, Rory Stevens, Sara Moore, & Kenzie Persinger placed 3rd, and Victoria Drainer placed 1st! Victoria Drainer will move on to the State Social Studies Fair with her project! Congratulations to all who traveled and placed! You have represented our school well! Big thank you to Mr. And Mrs. Poling for coordinating this for our school!
