Please download or update if needed by checking your App Store. After updating, check your app settings to make sure your school subscriptions and notifications are set correctly.

The Regional Spelling Bee will be on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 12pm at Fairmont State University (Wallman Hall Theater). Registration will begin at 11am. TCMS is represented by Alivia Pitman, Reagan Taylor, Maddie Bowers, and Bella Asebes.

Good afternoon. Today, Thursday January 16th, 2025, will be a Non-Traditional Instruction Day for all Taylor County Schools. This is NTI Day #3 for students. Students will learn from home and staff are to be available for support, from their assigned work site, from 10-3pm. Parents and Guardians are asked to review our NTID Family Plan video for more information on student expectations, available teacher supports, and meal availability for students. This video can be viewed on our Taylor County Schools website, YouTube channel, and social media page.

As a reminder, individuals who are coming to school to pick up students at the end of the day, are to not show up until 3:00. Please do not line up on Spring Hills Road as buses and other vehicles cannot get through. While we are aware that the lower parking lot cannot be plowed, we apologize for the inconvenience.

For student pick up in the afternoon, we cannot clear the lower parking lot due to it being gravel. Therefore, we will need to line up in the back of the school for the mean time until the snow melts. Please do not line up any sooner than 3:00 as we have employees leaving and coming along with deliveries.

Bus Announcement: Bus # 80 will not run today, Monday, Jan. 13th. Middle School and High School students who normally ride that bus will be transported home on Bus # 24 or #25.


For students that have Spanish, those Ice Packet Assignments have been added to the school website under documents.

Taylor County Schools Math Field Day will be held next Saturday, January 18th. Students chosen to participate will bring a letter home this week to their parents.
