Introducing another Great addition to TCMS. The students will now have their very own green house. We are looking forward to them and the Ag teacher, Mr. Maple, doing Great things with the greenhouse. So many Great things happening on the hill at TCMS.
We are so excited to add another great addition to TCMS. We have enlarged our lower parking lot for student pick up. As you enter the parking lot, you will go to your right and all cars will line up in lane one. As lane one becomes full, you will line up in lane two and continue the process. At 3:00, you will then exit the lanes starting with lane one and start your way to the back drive of the school to pick up your child. No longer will you line up in the back drive. All lines will start in the gravel parking lot. Please do not park in the back drive as those parking spaces are for visitors and employees only. No students will be permitted at the end of the day to walk across the back drive down over the hill to the new parking lot. This is for the students safety. All students will be waiting out back close to the school for student pick up. The addition of the new parking lot is to decrease student wait time for pick up, create a smoother transition for the parents and guardians and prevent long lines on Spring Hills Road. At the beginning of the school year, Mrs. T will be in the lower parking lot to assist with the new system to assure everyone has a smooth transition from the lower parking lot to the back drive of the school. An additional teacher will be on the back drive to assist the students for pick up. We truly hope you are excited as the administration that this new addition has arrived at TCMS. Please see the attached picture for direction. We truly hope everyone has a Great school and year!!
Just a reminder: Open house next Tuesday on the hill.

Back to School Fun Fair!
Dear Parents and/or Guardians,
As we prepare for the forthcoming school year, I wanted to clarify that, while you may feel inclined to donate items for your child’s school and or classroom, please know that this is not a requirement of any student or his or her family.
Any lists of “School Supplies” that you may see or hear about should be interpreted as helpful information about the kinds of items that are typically found useful within particular grade levels during the routine operations throughout the school year.
Therefore, please know that “Recommended, yet Not Required” would be the best way to interpret those messages/signs, etc., appearing on social media sites and through other means.
We understand, and appreciate that you, our citizens of Taylor County, are already contributing to our school system in several ways through your continued support and passage of our Excess Levies that include line items for such things as School Supplies.
I hope this information is helpful.
Sincerely,
Dr. John E. Stallings, Jr.
Superintendent
